ABOUT US
Dr. Jesse Lopez, Jr.
was born and raised in St Joseph, Missouri. Dr. Lopez received his BA
degree in chemistry from William Jewell College in 1984. He then
graduated from medical school from the University of Health Sciences in
Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed his surgical residency at
Mid-Western University in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Lopez is a board certified general surgeon through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Dr. Lopez has specialized in the field of Bariatrics and was certified in May of 2005 by Inamed Health to perform the laparoscopic gastric band procedure. Dr. Lopez has performed over 350 of these procedures.
Tammy
is our Practice Administrator. She handles a wide variety of tasks for
the office, ranging from scheduling, billing and collections to
advertising and marketing. You will meet Tammy when you attend one of
our free seminars and she would happy to assist you with your insurance
questions and anything else that you would need.
She has three children and a terrific significant other with his two children. Tammy has been in the medical field since 1990 and is currently in the process of obtaining her Certified Professional Coding degree through Johnson County Community College.
